Superstitions
In
olden days
People
lacked literacy
Frequently
they committed crimes
They
didn’t have any mercy.
People
believed in superstitions
If
a cat passed their way
They
believed themselves to be in a terrible situation
In
those olden days!
Oh!
How terrible it was,
If
a girl was born
She
was killed for no cause
This
evil practice was on.
A
light of knowledge came
Which
made a big difference
Renaissance
it was named
It
was given great preference.
When
would the day come?
When
I could proudly say
“Now
all superstitions are gone
People
are literate
The
reforms are on
Of
girls no one is frustrate…”
That
would be our modern period…
Much
better than olden days.
